At BuzzStream, we aspire to make a powerful, elegant tool that takes care of reporting, organization, and metrics for you, so you can focus on the important, difficult parts of outreach: real marketing and relationship building.
This month, we’ve improved our import module so getting contacts into BuzzStream is simple and easy – so you can focus on building links and buzz, not building spreadsheets.
Copy and Paste Import
Now, you can copy and paste lists of sites or pages directly into BuzzStream, letting BuzzStream research contact information, gather metrics, and discover recent content for you.
If you have a list of sites, or can find one, you can paste it into BuzzStream – without creating spreadsheets and matching fields.
To do this, click ‘Import’, and select ‘Paste List of URLs’. You’ll see this screen:
Then select Websites or Pages, and paste your list:
Press ‘Add Websites’, and BuzzStream begins researching the sites for you. (If you’d like to configure the metadata around the sites, like adding tags, select the ‘Show More Options’ panel below the text field.)
Intuitive New Project Creation
We’ve redesigned the ‘Create a New Project’ screen. Now creating a new project in BuzzStream is even easier.
When you create a new project, you see this screen:
Name your project and add your team member, and then set up backlink monitoring:
You can monitor links to an entire domain, or an individual URL. ((Our customers in competitive verticals like travel, finance, and lead generation find this landing page-level link tracking particularly useful.) In the ‘More Options’ panel, you can configure notification emails and add flagged words.
Next press ‘Create a Project’, and begin adding your contacts through Import, Prospecting, or the BuzzMarker.
Improved Import from Other Tools
Previously, you had add a spreadsheet, then navigate through a series of drop downs and match fields. Now, you can simply select your tool and import URLs:
