Whether it comes to remembering details about a contact, showing off your campaigns’ results, or collaborating efficiently with your team, we created BuzzStream to take care of all of the tedious work so you can focus on bigger and better things. It’s important to us that BuzzStream should be easy and intuitive to use, especially when it comes to the details.
That’s why we’re proud to introduce to you today the latest batch of BuzzStream improvements: the ability to pin important information to the top of the contact record so you never miss it, printable reports that are easy to share with clients and team mates, and sharing links for projects for easier and more direct collaboration.
Pin important information to the top of your contact history
You’re having a fast-moving conversation with a prospect, then boom, they drop some vital information that your team needs to see whenever they communicate with this contact.
In the past, your options might be to send a mass email, leave your team a note on their desks, or maybe even tell them in person. Now, you’ll be able to save time while making sure you and your team see the most important information first by pinning emails and notes to the top of a contact record.
To pin a note, email or tweet that you want to put front and center, click on the note or email, then select pin to top.
Once you’ve clicked that button, that part of your conversation with this contact will appear at the very top of their contact history, with a label saying PINNED on the right.
With your pinned email, note or tweet at the top of your contact’s conversation history, you can rest assured that you’ll never miss this important piece of information, forget it, or worry about a team mate not seeing it.
If you’ve ever pulled together the perfect report in BuzzStream to show your manager or client, but didn’t know the most efficient way to share it, we feel you. That’s why you can now easily print reports, and save them as pdfs.
You can find the option to View Print Version by clicking on the ellipses button in the top righthand corner of the report you’d like to easily share.
From there, BuzzStream will generate a printer-friendly version of your report, which can then be printed, or saved as a pdf. You’ll also have the option of selecting exactly which parts of the report you’d like included in your printout, so you can ensure that your shareable reports are as relevant and targeted to your audience as your outreach is.
Right now, this feature works in Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer, with Safari functionality coming up in the near future.
Sharing links for projects
To share your average page on the internet, you probably click on the page’s URL in your browser, select it all, then copy and paste. Straightforward stuff. However, you may have noticed that this tactic didn’t work when you tried to share a BuzzStream project using its URL. With this update, we’ve now corrected that issue to save you time and make BuzzStream even simpler to use.
To get the URL for a project, click on the current project’s name in the upper lefthand corner of the app. That will display a list of all of your projects for you to select from.
From here, click on the link icon to CopyProject URL.
A brief overlay will pop up letting you know that the link has been copied. Once you have the link, you can easily share it with your team members over your platform of choice, making it faster and easier to collaborate.
