In this video, I'm going to show you how BuzzStream makes it dead simple and fast to put together a list of highly qualified prospects for your campaign using research lists.

I'll start by adding some prospects to a research list so I can qualify them using the metrics, contact information and other details BuzzStream discovers for me. I can do this in a lot of different ways. For instance, I could import a list of sites I or a teammate put together, add exports from tools such as competitor, backlink reports from SemRush or Ahrefs, or even run prospecting searches to have BuzzStream find relevant sites for me. The great thing about Buzzstream is that I've got the flexibility to find prospects however I'd like, and there's always a convenient option to add those sites to my campaign.

For this project. I'm actually going to use the BuzzMarker to gather lists of prospects from a Google search. I'll start by searching for a relevant phrase from my campaign, such as "aerial photography inurl:resources." Once I determine there are quality prospects in this search, I'll just click the BuzzMarker to create a prospecting list from the SERP, then check the box next to add as research list, then add them to project.

Now BuzzStream is already doing work for me, gathering metrics and contact information for these URLs so I can immediately use it to vet them. Now let's look at the research list itself. I can see all of the sites I've gathered in this list. I can also see the title tag, snippet, as well as any author bylines BuzzStream discovers.

Looking at the columns to the right. I can also see key metrics BuzzStream has attached to these sites. I know I want to narrow this down by some metrics that are important to me. So I'll use BuzzStream's filters to only view sites with the Moz domain authority between 20 and 60. Now my list is much more manageable.

Once I've got this filtered list, now I want to manually vet the sites to make sure they're actually high quality. There's no better way to do that than by checking out their actual website. To do that, I'm going to select these sites, then click research, then review on the web. I'm going to use BuzzStream's multi tab research flow. This option will open the sites we've just selected in their own tabs, so I can fly through my list without waiting for any pages to load.

Now I'm in my research flow and you can see that BuzzStream has loaded the first five prospects as tabs in my browser. I'm going to review this first site and pretty quickly I can determine that it's not so great. So now I'll click Reject and BuzzStream will immediately close that tab, move me to the next, and open a new tab. That way I can seamlessly move through my whole list without waiting for individual pages to load or having 1,000 tabs open on my screen.

I can also use keyboard shortcuts to immediately move through my list. Using those shortcuts, I don't even have to waste time clicking my screen and can fly through my list qualification in a fraction of the time.

Generally, once I've determined the site is qualified, the next step is to look for contacts and contact info to reach out to. BuzzStream will automatically search for this information and present me with any author bylines and email addresses it discovers. I can then quickly approve those and add any additional contact details I find, including more general website or publication emails. I can then select which of those emails I'd like to set as the main recipient for my outreach campaign.

Of course, you can also approve without adding this info and let someone else on your team handle that research later. Once the site is approved, I will now immediately have access to my outreach fields list. Since I already have templates, I'll just select the one I'd like to use for my campaign. If you don't know how to set up a template yet, don't worry. I'll cover how to set those up shortly. Once I do that, all of the merge fields in that template will appear. My team, VAs, hired contractors or I can conduct research to populate these fields. So when the time comes to send outreach, I am ready to go.

Now once I select the contact and template, all of my fields are pre-populated and I can burn through my individual outreach or confidently send my email in bulk. We know that not everyone breaks their outreach teams' responsibilities like that, and often the person conducting research is also the person sending outreach. We've got an improvement on that process as well because you can also send your email right from the BuzzMarker research flow, leveraging all of the outreach fields you've populated as well as the full context of your prospect's site or publication.

Finally, we always hear that one of the biggest pains outreach teams face is accidentally messaging the same person from multiple accounts or campaigns, which will inevitably frustrate them and sour the relationship. To counter that and also to give complete insight into your previous history with contacts, we've made it dead simple to access a contact's history right in the research flow. I can even quickly see if a contact is in an active sequence in another campaign my team is running. Using this feature, I'll never step on my teammates toes and I'll know if I can reference any past engagements to help secure the link or coverage.

I hope this video has helped show you how BuzzStream can help put together a list of quality prospects.
