We’re excited to announce that Ross Hudgens of Siege Media will be joining us to host an Outreach Personalization Masterclass: The 4 Step Framework to Dramatically Increasing Replies, Links, and Buzz on Wednesday, March 22 at 1:00 EST.

Why a class on outreach personalization?

If you’ve read our blog before, chances are you know we’re big fans of personalization (to put it mildly). Nowadays, it’s accepted knowledge that everyone should be personalizing their outreach emails if they want to reach any degree of success. So we’ll all just personalize our emails, achieve all of our goals, and ride off happily into the sunset. Sounds simple enough, right?

Except that personalization comes in many forms, and every email you send not only calls for a different degree of personalization, but perhaps even requires a completely different type of personalization.

We’re all familiar with the flurry of questions you can start to ask yourself when putting together an outreach email. Should I mention their latest blog post, or have too many people done that? Should I mention I shared their article, or will that not play well? Should I write in a very casual tone, or should I take a more professional approach? The list can go on and on.

What it all boils down to is this: In an age where everyone is now “personalizing” their outreach emails, how can you make your messages stand out?

That’s what this webinar will show you how to do, with a 4 step framework, and plenty of tips and examples from two industry-leading experts.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn:

  • How to determine the appropriate level of personalization for each prospect
  • What criteria you can use to segment your prospects for more effective messaging
  • Three strategic approaches to personalizing your outreach, with variations
  • Real world examples of these tactics in action

Tell me more about the speakers.

First, we have Ross Hudgens. Ross is the founder of Siege Media, which he started in August of 2012. Siege is now going on five years old and has grown 262% over the past three years. Before Siege, he worked in the insurance and mortgage space building websites from launch to #1 rankings for extremely competitive queries. Ross’ work has been featured on Moz.com, Search Engine Land, Forbes, AOL, Hacker News, and other outlets. Ross also frequently speaks at conferences around the world, with his past appearances inlcuding MozCon, OMCap, ionSearch, LeadsCon, and Seattle Interactive, among others.

Secondly, we have BuzzStream’s own Paul May. Paul is the co-founder and CEO of BuzzStream. Founded in 2008, we’re currently used by over 2,000 customers worldwide. Paul has worked in the software industry for over twenty years and has been responsible for the marketing and product management of several startups. He has also spoken at many conferences, including Distilled’s SearchLove, IonSearch, and the Content Marketing Show. Additionally, Paul holds the honorable distinction of being “not bad to work for” in my book. (Just kidding, he’s great.)
