Table of Contents
- Content marketing in 2025 is user-first — prioritize meeting users at multiple entry points with content tailored to their journey stage.
- Use the 6H framework — Hero, Hub, Help, Heart, Happy, and Human content map to key stages from awareness to advocacy.
- AI should support, not lead — human insight drives strategy, while AI helps with efficiency (e.g., summaries, repurposing).
- Quarterly content reviews keep strategy agile — maintain a resilient framework while adjusting to shifting platforms and audience needs.
- Authority content wins — standout success today comes from high-effort, high-impact formats like in-depth books, video essays, and unique perspectives.
- Email remains a critical metric — opt-ins provide trackable ROI and connect multi-channel engagement to actual conversions.
I met David through a book…kind of.
David is the founder of Casting Cred and helped Majestic not only produce their podcast series, SEO in 2025, but also helped publish their similarly named book.
So, when I came across this book at the marketing conference BrightonSEO, I reached out to David to see if he’d be interested in chatting. Next thing I knew, I was being interviewed by him on the 2025 SEO series, where we discussed relevance and focus on quality over quantity.
Then I found out David actually authored a content marketing course on LinkedIn called B2B Foundations: Content Marketing, which I highly recommend checking out.
In this episode’s talk, we discuss David’s strategies for content marketing in an AI era. He explains his 6 H content framework, which includes Hero, Hub, Help, Heart, Happy, and Human content, detailing how these elements cater to different stages of the customer journey.
This is a must-watch for content marketers of all shapes and sizes.
